Situated on the beautiful North York Moors, Fairhaven Country Guest House is perfectly placed should you wish to explore the area on foot – with numerous walks crisscrossing the area, and the famous Lyke Wake Walk and coast to coast passing nearby. The steam train and local bus service linking Goathland to Whitby, Pickering and beyond enable you to forget about your car, and when you do want to drive out and explore the area we can help plan routes which allow to see the very best of the area. Ideal for solo travellers, couples, families or groups our Edwardian property sits in extensive gardens and has a choice of nine lovely guest rooms with single, double, twin and family accommodation available. An award-winning delicious breakfast is served in the dining room, with a full English breakfast made from local produce and daily specials such as smoked salmon with scrambled egg, Welsh rarebit, warm pancakes with fresh fruit and drizzled with syrup and smoked haddock and poached egg. We can happily cater for individual dietary requirements, with vegetarian, dairy-free and gluten-free options.
We offer a choice of eight en-suite rooms and one single room with private facilities. All have been newly refurbished and enjoy lovely views and modern facilities including a flat screen TV with Freeview and DVD player. We also provide a well-stocked hospitality tray including Yorkshire tea, Cadbury's hot chocolate and Twining's herbal teas. Other in-room facilities include quality toiletries; fluffy towels, hairdryer, comfortable seating; ironing facilities can be made available on request. Fresh milk, filtered water and fruit is always available from the dining room. Our family room has a double bed and up to two singles, and can also be used as a triple room.
