Set on the lower ground level of a modern build property, Ewelands Retreat feels like a deluxe studio apartment. There is a stylish feel to this luxury cottage, with romantic accents and little touches throughout which gives it a really homely atmosphere.

The kitchen is stocked with top quality Wedgewood crockery and crystal glassware and the cooks among you will delight in the range of Le Crusuet pots and dishes. If you haven’t had a chance to make it to the shops yet the goodies on arrival and the honesty bar are a welcome sight.

Perfect for two people, the open plan design feels spacious and cosy at the same time, with a generous sitting room, dining and kitchen area leading onto a wonderfully romantic bedroom – just perfect for a lazy breakfast in bed. For your entertainment there’s a SMART TV with wireless Bluetooth speakers and an IPad available for guest’s use. The king-size bed boasts a comfy pocket-sprung mattress and is dressed in the finest Egyptian Cotton bed linen.

The bathroom is housed in a separate room and includes a large bath and walk-in power-shower. You’ll find complimentary Elemis toiletries as well as fluffy big bath-sheets to snuggle up in. There is also a very handy laundry room which doubles as a storage space. You’ll even find some Hunter’s Wellies to borrow in here if you want to strike out for a walk across the North York Moors.
